Jane has worked as a public health nurse, an instructor of nursing at Skidmore College and a director of nursing for the Orange County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Later she served as director of market research for Sterling Drug’s Ethical Pharmaceutical Division. Jane has served on numerous community boards including Beacon Hill Village, Beacon Hill Garden Club, Beacon Hill Civic Association and is Trustee Emerita of Nantucket Atheneum. She is currently most active working on the Nantucket Atheneum Dance Festival. Jane splits her time between Boston, Nantucket, and Vero Beach, FL. She has one son, John, and three stepchildren, Mary, Cecily and Wat.
