David has worked in high tech in the Boston area for over 25 years, holding jobs at several software companies. Recently David has pursued his interest in food security and works as a project manager for Project Soup, the food pantry of the Somerville Homeless Coalition. David and his partner, Monica Luke, have established the Living Assistance Fund (LAF) at McLean Hospital focused on providing access to mental health care for individuals who cannot afford their care. LAF supported establishing a Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) at McLean launched in October 2017. In addition, David has been mentoring young technology entrepreneurs at Affect Mental Health. David has a BS in computer science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
