Marilyn is a retired emergency physician with background training and certification in Internal Medicine. She earned her AB from Mount Holyoke College and her MD from Brown University Medical School. Marilyn is president of Eaglemere Foundation, a Sarles family foundation that focuses primarily on ecosystem protection and related environmental issues. Her volunteer commitments include: emerita board member of the Massachusetts chapter of The Nature Conservancy and the Leadership Council at Silent Spring Institute. Marilyn and her husband, Jay, have three adult children and six grandchildren.
