Established in 2002, the McLean National Council is a group of more than 100 of McLean’s most ardent, informed and dedicated friends and supporters. Hailing from across the country and around the world, the council is a group of influential leaders committed to staying informed about current treatment, research and training initiatives at McLean. Council members serve as mental health advocates, working to reduce the stigma associated with psychiatric illness within their own personal and professional spheres, and are encouraged to offer insight or suggestions to the hospital as valued members of the McLean community. The McLean National Council has been instrumental in bolstering hospital resources through ongoing and generous philanthropic support.
